This module is available only with the Toolkit.
The File Browser panel consists of three parts, topmost is the volume/directory listing as a treeview. Below that is the filter list for the associated file types. At the bottom is the actual file list which will display the filenames and their sizes.
Using the '+' and '-' in the directory display you can expand and collapse the respective directory branch. Double-clicking on the directory itself will select that directory for display in the fileview. Right clicking on a directory lists the following popup menus :
The filter dropdrop can be used simply by changing the filter.
By double-clicking on a file in the listview you can open it directly into the Workbench editing area.
By right-clicking on a file in the listview you can select to open the file in the editor, delete the file, or refresh the fileview. Right clicking on a file also shows the following popup menus:
By selecting the file with a single-click and then clicking again on the selected file you can rename the file.
Both current directory and filter settings are saved for the next session.
Currently these are the only supported functions of the file browser.
